Crow Wing County's median sale price sits at $342,000, up 5.0% year over year, with 397 lake-property listings on the market for agents to prospect and new construction underway across Baxter, Brainerd, and Pequot Lakes. Here is the sourced snapshot our team carries into every listing appointment.
New construction and planning are on the way
The region that spent years under-built is adding inventory at every price point: Baxter's 60-unit Timberline Heights second addition proposed for 2027, Brainerd's 176-unit Voyageur Heights apartments, the 43-unit City Hall parking lot project, the 80-unit Timber Ridge senior living community, and the 20-unit Trailside Estates in Pequot Lakes. This week Baxter's council took up the Hwy 371 interchange project, with MnDOT's conditional consent in hand and construction expected in 2028-29, and Crow Wing County is taking public comment on its Recreational Use Ordinance through October 16.
